Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering
The Joint Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program is administered by the combined biomedical engineering graduate faculty of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. Both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees are offered through the graduate program, and a combined M.D./Ph.D program is available to students who also gain admission to the School of Medicine at UNC. Students may enter the graduate program with an undergraduate degree in engineering or in the physical or life sciences. Students of the Joint Department may attend classes at UNC, NCSU, and Duke University. Some of these courses are offered through video-conferencing.
